OKeh Records ma zaszczyt zaprezentować kolejną płytę amerykańskiej wokalistki jazzowej – Stacey Kent.
Urodzona w New Jersey, ukończyła komparatystykę literacką na Sarah Lawrence College w Nowym Jorku, po czym zamieszkała w Anglii, gdzie studiowała w Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Poznała wówczas swojego męża, saksofonistę Jima Tomlinsona, z którym współpraca artystyczna jest bardzo owocna, nagrali wspólnie wiele płyt.
Jej pierwszy album, "Close Your Eyes" ukazał się w 1997 roku. Od tego czasu nagrała sześć płyt, a także pojawiała się gościnnie na płytach męża – ostatnio na płycie "The Lyric (2005)", która otrzymała nagrodę "Album of the Year" 2006 na BBC Jazz Awards. Artystka koncertowała dotychczas w 40 krajach świata, dając ok. 200 koncertów rocznie.
Płyta artystki zatytułowana "I Know I Dream" to zestaw 12 wspaniałych utworów. Oprócz znanych standardów usłyszymy parę skomponowanych przez Jima Tomlinsona, wykonywanych przez artystkę z towarzyszeniem orkiestry symfonicznej.
