Folterkammer, co po niemiecku oznacza „Izba Tortur”, oferuje wrażenia dźwiękowe zaskakująco niepodobne do niczego, co kiedykolwiek słyszałeś. Ten nowojorsko-szwajcarsko-francuski zespół umiejętnie łączy elementy muzyki barokowej, black metalu, opery, jazzu i muzyki klasycznej w urzekającą, a jednocześnie niepokojącą mieszankę. Tytuł albumu - „Weibermacht” (który grupa tłumaczy jako „Sucza Moc”) już swoim brzmieniem zapowiada prowokację i przesuwające się granice od pierwszych sekund utworu otwierającego - „Anno Domina”. Jest to piosenka w całości śpiewana po niemiecku, inicjująca 45-minutowe tematyczne zanurzenie się w otchłań BDSM, gdzie ból miesza się z przyjemnością. To wyjście w stronę tabu nie jest zaskoczeniem, gdyż w składzie zespołu znajduje się także gitarzysta znany z Imperial Triumphant, Zachary Ezrin. Niepokój nigdy nie był tak przyjemny.
