Przyjmijmy zatern za pewnik, iż są to cechy niezbędne. Gdyby wielu uczonych nie odznaczało się nimi, i to w znacznym stopniu, nie byłoby ani rewolucji naukowych, ani poważniejszego postępu w nauce."
