Mając na swoim koncie ponad trzydzieści lat aktywnej służby pod ćwiekami i pasami kulowymi, Necrophobic to niekwestionowane legendy sceny death i black metalowej. Sztokholmski zespół, założony w 1989 roku przez perkusistę Joakima Sternera, od samego początku propagował wyjątkową i nieustraszoną wizję. Necrophobic wypracowało sobie własną odważną i żywą tożsamość, tworząc gęsto melodyjne podejście do makabrycznego ekstremalnego metalu, które znalazło sobie wielu naśladowców.

Pomimo licznych zmian w składzie i chwil zamieszania, mroczne światło Necrophobic nigdy nie przygasło. W 2018 roku skład zespołu (po raz pierwszy od 5 lat z gitarzystami: Sebastianem Ramstedtem i Johanem Bergebackiem) zebrał się, by wydać „Mark Of The Necrogram”. Dla fanów i krytyków stało się oczywiste, że szwedzki kwintet powrócił do swojej najlepszej formy.
