Przynajmniej z zewnątrz The Grape w Ventura w Kalifornii wydaje się być kolejnym anonimowym budynkiem szeregu restauracji i sklepów. Jednak latem 2022 roku to w tym miejscu na żywo stanęły obok siebie potęgi progresywnego metalu i jazzu: po prawej stronie zatopiony w swoim świecie, skoncentrowany, Derek Sherinian, który z elegancką pewnością siebie wykonywał czarujące partie klawiszowe, a po lewej schowany za swoim zestawem perkusyjnym Simon Phillips, dzierżący w dłoniach pałeczki, którymi hipnotyzująco wymachiwał pomiędzy talerzami a tomami. Tych dwoje wspierał kunsztowny bas Rica Fierabracciego oraz nieustępliwa, figlarna dwugryfowa gitara Rona "Bumblefoota" Thala. 500 wdzięcznych fanów mogło być świadkami wielkiego wydarzenia - punktu kulminacyjnego dwudziestoletniej podróży.
Sherinian ugruntował swoją reputację występując z takimi zespołami jak Kiss i Alice Cooper, a także pracując z gigantami progresywnego metalu Dream Theater. Lista osiągnięć Phillipsa jest ogromna i obejmuje współpracę z takimi artystami jak Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani i The Who.
