Enforced wydaje album „War Remains”, który umacnia pozycję zespołu na scenie metalicznego hardcore’u. „To agresywny, pozbawiony zbędnych dodatków thrashowy album i chociaż jest prawie dziesięć minut krótszy niż poprzednik, ma dziesięć razy więcej mocy” – tłumaczy frontman Enforced, Knox Colby. Zespół łączy klasyczny thrash z hardcore’em, okraszając je swoją pewnością siebie, niczym nieposkromioną mocą i agresją. Tym razem zespół postawił na surowość i jeszcze większą i żywszą energię niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej. Od silnego wstrząsu, jaki wywołuje otwierający „Aggressive Menace”, przez szalony „Hanged by My Hand” po thrashowe hymny, takie jak utwór tytułowy czy „Nation of Fear”, wszystko na tej płycie jest tak dobre, jak to możliwe we współczesnym crossoverze. „Teraz gramy we wszystko o wiele szybciej” — promienieje Colby. „To przychodzi naturalnie z czasem”.
