Sony Classical ma zaszczyt zaprosić do wysłuchania kolejnego albumu Leifa Ove Andsnesa, uznawanego przez Wall Street Journal za "jednego z najbardziej utalentowanych muzyków swojego pokolenia". Andsnes, prócz tego, że przez całe życie aktywnie nagrywał, występował w największych salach koncertowych świata i grał z czołowymi orkiestrami. Jest zapalonym kameralistą, przez dwie dekady pełnił funkcję dyrektora artystycznego w Risor na Festiwalu Muzyki Kameralnej.
W 2012 r. pełnił funkcję dyrektora muzycznego Ojai Music Festival w Kalifornii. Nagrany w 2014 roku, wspólnie z Mahler Chamber Orchestra, komplet koncertów fortepianowych Ludwiga van Beethovena zdobył szereg prestiżowych nagród fonograficznych w Europie i USA.
Tym razem usłyszymy rzadko wykonywany cykl 13 pocztówek na fortepian, które składają się na "Poetic Tone Pictures" Antonina Dvoraka, napisanych wiosną 1889 roku i sygnalizujących zmianę stylu kompozytora, odchodzącego od formalnych konstrukcji w kierunku bardziej swobodnej, inspirowanej estetyki
