Jego poprzedni album, dedykowany twórczości Nat King Cola spotkał się z doskonałym przyjęciem, zaś artysta wyróżniony został nagrodą "Best Voice of the Year” wręczanej podczas Jazz Victoires de la Musique 2017.
Urodzony w Anglii, a mieszkający na stałe we Francji artysta, były wokalista zespołu The Hoax, skierował swe artystyczne zainteresowania w kierunku folk – rock, eksplorując wcześniej krainę jazzu.
W 2012 roku towarzyszył pianiście Ericowi Legnini w trasie z The Afro Jazz Beat. To wtedy odkrył "...nonszalancję muzyków jazzowych, którzy są bardziej rock and rollowi niż muzycy rockowi..."
