"Amused To Death" to trzecia solowa płyta Rogera Watersa, która ukazała się w 1992 roku, i którą bardzo szybko uznano za jedno z największych osiągnięć byłego muzyka Pink Floyd. W lipcu 2015 roku album ten doczeka się kolejnej reedycji – płyta została zremasterowana i wydana z nową szata graficzną.

"Cieszę się, że album otrzyma nową szansę. Mam wrażenie, że kiedy się ukazał, prawie 23 lata temu, nie otrzymał tyle uwagi, na ile zasłużył" - powiedział Waters.

Album "Amused To Death" to w części realizacja pomysłów Watersa z lat 80, ale największy wpływ na materiał zawarty na tym koncept albumie miały wydarzenia na Placu Tiananmen z 1989 roku działania wojenne w Zatoce Perskiej. Waters po raz kolejny zadał słuchaczom filozoficzne pytania o wpływ, jaki mają na współczesnego człowieka media, telewizja oraz agresywna globalizacja.

Wydawnictwo to ukazało się w kilku wersjach: jako zremasterowany album CD, podwójna płyta winylowa oraz box CD+Blu-ray.
