Po ogromnym sukcesie albumu „Femmes” (2023) wielokrotnie nagradzana wiolonczelistka Raphaela Gromes wydaje nowy album „Dvorák: Cello Concerto”, zawierający jeden z najbardziej znanych koncertów wiolonczelowych oraz poruszające utwory ukraińskich kompozytorów . Inspiracją do powstania albumu była wizyta Gromes w Kijowie w grudniu 2023 r., gdzie wykonała Koncert Dvoráka z Narodową Orkiestrą Symfoniczną Ukrainy i jej głównym dyrygentem Wołodymyrem Sirenko, w geście solidarności z narodem ukraińskim.

Centralnym punktem albumu jest Koncert wiolonczelowy Antonína Dvořáka (1841-1904), który jest dla Gromes jej jednym z absolutnie ulubionych utworów na wiolonczelę. Tka motywy miłości, straty i transcendencji, stanowi szczyt romantycznej ekspresji i odzwierciedla głęboką tęsknotę Dvořáka za swoją czeską ojczyzną.
