Winylowa edycja drugiego studyjnego albumu "The Diary of Alicia Keys" jednej z najsłynniejszych wokalistek świata, Alicii Keys.

Jej debiut "Songs In A Minor" (2001) stał się światową sensacją i znalazł 10 milionów nabywców! Dlatego z wielkim zainteresowaniem oczekiwano na drugą odsłonę. Utwory powstawały głównie w czasie trasy koncertowej po Europie. W czasie długich podróży wokalistka wymyślała rytmy i spisywała myśli oraz obserwacje z życia w drodze. Alicia ponownie zaprezentowała melodyjne, pop/soulowe kompozycje, z charakterystycznym dla niej nastrojowym fortepianem w tle. Na płycie znalazło się jednak kilka niespodzianek. Pojawiają się bowiem dźwiękowe eksperymenty, częściowo zainspirowane pobytem wokalistki w Madrycie. Dominują jednak niemal klasyczne kompozycje z cyklu "ja przy swoim pianinie, czyli tam, gdzie jest moje miejsce". Producentami nagrań są Keys, Kanye West i Kerri Brothers z Krucial Keys. W kompozycji "Streets of New York" gościnnie pojawiają się znani nowojorscy raperzy Nas i Rakim. Album promował singel "You Don't Know My Name".
