Premiera tej płyty w 2000 roku to przełomowy moment w bogatej historii Oasis i początek nowej ery dla zespołu. „Go Let It Out” było pierwszym oficjalnym wydawnictwem w wytwórni Noela i Liama Gallagherów - Big Brother Recordings Ltd, założonej w styczniu 2000 r. po nagłym zamknięciu dawnej brytyjskiej wytwórni Oasis Creation Records. Po światowym sukcesie albumów „Definitely Maybe”, „What’s The Story (Morning Glory?)” i „Be Here Now”, wraz z albumem „Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants” zespół podjął śmiałą decyzję o rozwoju swojego brzmienia.
