Znany z takich przebojów jak "Your Body Is A Wonderland", "Daughters" czy "Who Says" artysta pierwszą odsłonę krążka "Born And Raised" zaprezentował jeszcze w marcu - singiel "Shadow Days" można odsłuchać na jego oficjalnej stronie internetowej. Producentem wszystkich 12 utworów na nowym albumie jest Don Was (Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Joe Cocker, Bonnie Raitt) a w tytułowym utworze razem z Johnem usłyszymy gwiazdy muzyki folk: Grahama Nasha i Davida Crosby’ego.
